Why you might not choose SuiteGrowth

Most vendor websites only argue one side. This page is the other one. Five situations where you should buy a competitor instead, five fair objections answered in full, and the questions you should put to us before you sign anything.

The short version

SuiteGrowth does one job better than anything else on the UK market: it turns completed dental appointments into Google reviews, over WhatsApp, at volume. If that is the job you are hiring for, we are the right answer.

If your job is NHS Friends and Family Test returns, independent third-party review credibility, or directory listings syndication, we are not, and this page tells you exactly who is. We would rather you bought the right thing than bought ours.

When you should buy something else

Five situations where a different platform is the better purchase, and the one we would point you at.

You need NHS Friends and Family Test collection

Buy Working Feedback

SuiteGrowth does not collect or submit FFT responses. If your practice is mixed NHS and private and your FFT return is a contractual obligation rather than a nice-to-have, that is a real gap and we will not talk you out of it. Working Feedback has FFT collection and submission built in. Some practices run Working Feedback for FFT and SuiteGrowth for Google review volume, because the two jobs are not the same job.

You want independent, third-party verified reviews

Buy Doctify

Doctify's own public positioning is that it publishes moderated patient reviews on its own profiles, at practitioner and treatment level, and that a practice cannot suppress a review simply because it dislikes it. That independence is the product. SuiteGrowth does not give you that. We strengthen an asset you already own, your Google Business Profile, which is where UK patients actually search. If the credibility of a neutral third party matters more to you than volume on Google, buy Doctify.

You need your business details syndicated across dozens of online directories

Buy Birdeye

Birdeye sells listing management: pushing your name, address, hours and phone number out to Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places and dozens of other directories, plus competitor monitoring across them. We do not do that and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Note what this is not about. Running several dental sites is not a reason to leave us: SuiteGrowth was built inside a twelve-clinic UK group before it was sold to anyone, every location keeps its own Google profile, WhatsApp number and review link, patients are routed to the site they were actually treated at, and the dashboard breaks every figure down per clinic. Buy Birdeye for directories, not for having more than one practice.

You only want twenty to thirty more reviews a month

Buy A cheaper email tool

At thirty reviews a month, SuiteGrowth costs fifteen pounds per review. An email tool at ninety-nine pounds a month costs you about three. We are built for practices that want to move from single figures to three figures a month, and the economics only work in our favour above roughly fifty reviews a month. Below that, we are the expensive answer to a question you have not got.

Your patients genuinely do not use WhatsApp

Buy An SMS or email platform

WhatsApp is the reason our response rates are what they are, and it is also our single dependency. If you have measured your list and your patients are not on WhatsApp, our advantage evaporates and you are paying a premium for a channel that does not reach them. Ask us to check your list before you buy, not after.

The fair objections to SuiteGrowth, answered

These are the criticisms a well-informed buyer actually raises. None of them are strawmen and we have not softened any of them.

Dentally is the only integration you document in detail. We run SOE or EXACT.

Fair hit on our marketing. Wrong about the product.

That criticism was accurate about this website and we have fixed it. SuiteGrowth connects to 21 practice management systems, and Software of Excellence is one of the two we run at scale in UK practices today, alongside Dentally.

The strongest piece of comparative evidence we have ever published was produced on Software of Excellence, not on Dentally. A UK practice running SOE went live on 31 August 2026 and recorded 28 new Google reviews in the first thirteen days of September, against the 4.2 a month its previous platform had recorded over the preceding forty-three months. That practice's Software of Excellence patient list opened 968 conversations.

If SOE or EXACT is your system, that is the evidence to judge us on.

Your headline is one standout case study, not years of broad evidence.

Partly fair. We are a 2025 company and we say so.

We are a 2025 company. We do not have a decade of dental case studies and anyone claiming otherwise about a company our age is selling you something.

What we do have is named, checkable and more than one. Deepcar Dental Care in Sheffield had 108 Google reviews in eight years and added 183 in thirty days, and you can count them yourself on their public Google profile without asking us. Springmount Dental is published in full. The fortnight head-to-head against Working Feedback is published with its method, its windows, its undeliverable messages and its bot-filtered link clicks, because a number without a denominator is marketing.

Judge the method, not the headline. If the method is thin, do not buy.

Putting AI between the practice and the patient adds a failure point.

True. Here is what happens when it misreads.

It is a real trade-off and the honest answer is that a simpler tool has fewer ways to say something strange on your behalf. Sarcasm, ambiguity, a patient asking something unrelated, a clinical worry phrased casually, all of it is harder than sending a fixed template.

What we do about it: every reply is scored for seven dental-specific flags before anything is sent, anything flagged clinical or complaint goes to a human on your team rather than getting an automated answer, your team can take over any conversation mid-thread at any point, and every message in and out is visible to you in full. The system is built to hand over rather than guess.

It is not perfect and we will not claim it is. Ask to see the conversations where it went wrong, not just the ones where it went right.

How the sentiment and safety scoring works

Does this breach Google's policy on selectively soliciting reviews?

The most important question on this page. Read our full answer.

Google's published policy says businesses should not discourage or prohibit negative reviews, or selectively solicit positive reviews from customers. Any vendor whose product touches this should be able to tell you exactly where it stands, in writing, without hedging.

Here is where we stand today. Patients whose reply is negative or raises a clinical concern are routed to a person at your practice rather than being sent the review link automatically. They are not prevented from leaving a review, they are not shown a landing page that filters them by star rating, and nothing is hidden from your team. But they are not handed the link at that moment, and that is the part you should interrogate rather than take on trust.

We publish the mechanism rather than bury it, and we would rather lose a sale to a practice that has thought about this than win one from a practice that has not.

Our full position on review gating and Google policy

A spike of 183 reviews in a month looks like a manipulation pattern.

Worth raising. The pattern that matters is what happens in month four.

Google's policy does treat unusual volumes or patterns of review contributions as a possible signal of manipulation, so this is a sensible thing to ask about rather than a cynical one.

The distinction Google draws is between inauthentic contributions and real ones. Every review we generate comes from a patient who attended a real appointment recorded in your practice management system, wrote back in their own words from their own phone, and opened the link themselves. There is no incentive, no purchased review and no template answer.

A first month is always the biggest, because a practice's entire historic patient list gets contacted once and never again. After that, volume is set by how many appointments you complete. A steady sixty to a hundred a month, every month, is a healthier profile than one spike, and it is what the recurring lane is built to produce. If a vendor promises you a spike and cannot tell you what month four looks like, ask why.

What volume your practice should actually expect

Doctify rows state Doctify's own public positioning rather than a capability we have independently verified. Every row here is favourable to the other vendor, not adverse to it. Five questions to ask us before you sign

Ask every vendor on your shortlist these five. Here are our answers in advance, so you can hold us to them on the call.

1

We complete roughly 540 appointments a month. How many Google reviews should we expect?

At 540 completed appointments a month, ten per cent conversion is 54 reviews a month and twenty per cent is 108. We will give you a range for your own volume before you sign, and we would rather quote you a number you beat than one you do not. If any vendor answers this question without asking your appointment volume first, the number is invented.

2

What is your cost per review at our volume?

£450 a month divided by the reviews you actually get. Fifty a month is £9 each, seventy-five is £6, a hundred is £4.50. Below fifty a month we are poor value and you should buy something cheaper. Run this calculation against every quote you receive, including ours.

3

Does every genuine patient have an equal opportunity to reach our Google review link?

Not automatically, and you should hear that plainly. Patients who reply negatively or raise a clinical concern go to a person at your practice instead of receiving the link at that moment. Nobody is blocked from reviewing you, nobody is filtered by a star-rating page, and your team sees every thread. Our full reasoning, and Google's actual published wording, is on the review gating page.

4

Can we see twenty to thirty real anonymised conversations, including the bad ones?

Yes. Ask on the call and we will show you happy patients, unhappy patients, patients in pain, patients trying to book, sarcastic replies, complaints and people asking why they have been messaged at all. A polished demo tells you nothing. The awkward threads tell you everything.

5

What conversion rate do you see across comparable practices, not one standout?

Ask this of us and of everyone else, and ask for the denominator each time. Ours is published with its method, including the messages that never arrived and the link clicks that turned out to be bots. A conversion rate quoted without a denominator is not a measurement.

The honest verdict

If you are a UK practice that wants Google review volume to go from single figures a month to three, and you want lapsed patients rebooked on the same thread, we are the strongest option on this market and we will show you the numbers rather than assert them.

If you need FFT, independent moderated reviews, or directory listings syndication, buy the tool above that does that. Several practices run us alongside one of them, which is usually the right answer when the jobs are genuinely different.

Bring the five questions. We would rather answer them than be chosen by default.
