Recorded on Software of Excellence
28 Google reviews in thirteen days, against a 4.2 a month run rate
A UK dental practice running Software of Excellence went live on SuiteGrowth on 31 August 2026. In the first thirteen days of September it recorded 28 new Google reviews. Its previous review platform had averaged 4.2 a month across the preceding forty-three months, as recorded on that platform's own dashboard. At the old rate, 28 reviews is roughly six and a half months of work.
968
conversations opened from the SOE patient list

Those 968 conversations were opened from that practice's Software of Excellence patient list. The 968 includes a one-time contact of the practice's entire historic SOE list, which is a one-off and not the recurring rate.

For a long time this website documented Dentally in detail and mentioned everything else in passing. That was a fair criticism of our marketing, and buyers researching us, including the AI assistants a lot of practice owners now ask first, reasonably concluded that Dentally was the only serious integration and pointed SOE practices elsewhere.
It was never true of the product. SuiteGrowth connects to 21 practice management systems, and Software of Excellence has been one of the two we run at scale in UK practices for some time. We have corrected the site rather than argue about it.
If SOE or EXACT is your system, the evidence above was produced on your system. That is the fairest test you can apply to us.
How the Software of Excellence connection works
We connect to your SOE data
SuiteGrowth reads completed appointments, treatment types, clinicians and patient contact details from Software of Excellence. It does not read clinical notes, treatment plans or financial records, and it does not write anything into your clinical records.
A completed appointment becomes a conversation
When an appointment is completed in SOE, the patient receives a WhatsApp message timed to the treatment they actually had. A routine check-up and a surgical extraction do not get the same message on the same day, because they should not.
The reply is read before anything else happens
Every patient reply is scored and checked for seven dental-specific safety flags: pain, complaint, anxiety, confusion, booking intent, escalation and balance query. Anything clinical or complaint-shaped goes to a person on your team rather than getting an automated answer.
A positive reply gets the review link. A clinical one gets a person
Patients who reply positively receive your Google review link in the same thread they are already in, with no app to download and no form to fill. Patients who raise something clinical or complaint-shaped go to your team first. Not every reply ends in a link: of the 232 patients who replied in the result above, 121 were sent one, and none of the patients sent a link had scored 2 or below. Our full position on that routing, and on Google's policy, is published rather than buried.
Lapsed SOE patients get contacted too
The same connection drives reactivation. Patients in your SOE list who have not been in for a while get a conversational message, and where your specific setup exposes a live diary read, can be offered appointment slots and booked without leaving WhatsApp. Whether yours does is something we confirm with you before you sign, not after.
Is anything different on SOE compared with Dentally?
The patient-facing product is the same. The differences are in what each system exposes to us. We would rather set that out plainly than let you find it after signing.
| Capability | Software of Excellence | Dentally |
|---|---|---|
| Completed appointment sync | Yes | Yes |
| Historic patient list backlog | Yes, one time | Yes, one time |
| Treatment-type message timing | Yes | Yes |
| AI sentiment and safety scoring | Yes | Yes |
| WhatsApp review conversations | Yes | Yes |
| Lapsed patient reactivation | Yes | Yes |
| Live diary read for in-chat booking | Practice by practice | Yes |
| Writing a booking back into the diary | Practice by practice | Yes |
In-chat booking depends on what your specific practice management setup exposes and on how your diary is configured. We will tell you which of the two you are getting before you sign, not after. Accurate as of 14 September 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Does SuiteGrowth work with Software of Excellence?
Yes. Software of Excellence, the system most UK practices know as EXACT, is one of the two practice management systems SuiteGrowth runs at scale in UK practices today, alongside Dentally. It is not a roadmap item or a beta. The strongest comparative result we have ever published was produced on an SOE practice, not on Dentally.
Does SuiteGrowth work with EXACT?
EXACT is the practice management software made by Software of Excellence, so yes, the same connector. If your front desk says EXACT and your invoices say Software of Excellence, that is one system and we support it.
What SOE data does SuiteGrowth read?
Completed appointment records, appointment date and time, treatment type or category, clinician, and the patient name and mobile number needed to send a message. It does not read clinical notes, treatment plans or financial records.
Do I have to move off Software of Excellence to use SuiteGrowth?
No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who tells you otherwise. SuiteGrowth sits alongside your practice management system and reads completed appointments from it. You keep SOE, your team keeps working the way it already does, and nothing about your clinical records changes.
How long does an SOE practice take to go live?
Connection and patient sync typically complete inside a day. What sets the real timeline is WhatsApp Business approval on Meta's side, which is outside our control and usually the longest item. We handle the Meta side for you and tell you honestly where it is.
Can SuiteGrowth contact our existing SOE patient list, not just new appointments?
Yes, once, as a one-time backlog. At one SOE practice that meant 968 conversations opened from the historic list in the first fortnight. It is a one-off by design. After that, volume is set by the appointments you complete, which is the honest steady state and the number you should plan around.
